Human Rights – Article 4

Today we celebrate the 60th anniversary of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Not that we have much to celebrate.

If you click on the link I posted in the previous paragraph, you’ll find the complete declaration. All 30 articles are there for you to read, learn and put into practice—or so I’d like to believe. Anyway, there’s one specific article I’m bringing to your attention today. Here it is:

Article 4.

    No one shall be held in slavery or servitude; slavery and the slave trade shall be prohibited in all their forms.

I really, really hope this human rights article doesn’t have anything to do with the way you treat your employees. Neither in a literal sense, nor in a figurative one.
